A very small (AND COMPLEX AF) system in gms 2.3 for controlling a simple character's movement and sprites while moving in all directions. (NO COLLISION DETECTING)

Made this in a day for my own project, but it's the first time I make a movement system this clean, so I wanna share it.

Player sprites were made using 0x72's pixeldudesmaker system, found here https://0x72.itch.io/pixeldudesmaker. I do NOT own them. They're included as a demonstration only. I encourage you to check 0x72's system, it's freakin amazing.

Sword sprites are by me (first decent pixel art by me, so let me know your thoughts)

Also, I forgot to uninclude this, so there's also a sword swinging system. Just left click to swing, it also tracks which frame you're on so you can't just keep swinging forever. Just check for the image speed of the sword in a collision event with a monster to calculate a hit.
